CLAY stands for "Creating Leadership Amongst Youth", and was started in 1992. The conference is not just tailored towards current student leaders, but for any student who wishes to develop their leadership skills, meet new friends and create some amazing life experiences while having a whole lot of fun!

CLAY is a 4-day, 3-night leadership conference unlike any other. It is run by students of McMaster University for secondary school students across Ontario. It is unique because it provides students with the opportunity to share and expand their knowledge in leadership through an open, innovative, and interactive environment with other students.

The conference is run entirely on the campus of McMaster. The conference allows delegates to be exposed to the university setting before stepping out on their own post secondary paths; delegates stay in residence, are supplied with meals from on-campus food services, and all events and sessions take place on our beautiful campus.
